How to move from Corporate Sustainability / Social Responsibility to Business as a Force for Good?
We have tackled this challenge with Charles Wookey from A Blueprint for Better Business and more than 20 executives in the first edition of the Business as a Force for Good course at IAE Business School.
How? By Integrating the concrete challenges of the participants, the wisdom literature, and international and national cases (10Pines, Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products, Inc., Ovis 21; Capita; WeCare, NatWest Group, the Reinforest Alliance, Legal & General; ENGIE and others) that attempt to unlock the power of business to be a force for good.
In the following article, we summarize the experience and key ideas to move from Corporate Social Responsibility to Business as a Force for Good.
Integral Entrepreneurship
How to move from Sustainability to Social and Environmental Regeneration? Integral Entrepreneurship
We have tackled this challenge with Dimo Dimov from University of Bath and more than 20 executives in the third edition of the Integral Entrepreneurship course at IAE Business School.
The learning and transformation process unfold in three steps.
We first engaged in lively discussions with Cintia Jaime, co-founder and CEO of ES VICIS Foundation, and Pablo Borrelli, co-founder and CEO of Ovis 21.
- Es Vicis focuses on social regeneration solving two simultaneous grand challenges: the regenerations of small rural towns through sustainable migration from big cities.
- Ovis 21 focuses on the environmental regeneration of grasslands through holistic management
Then, we share the three dynamic criteria to engage in integral entrepreneurship:
- From cognition to transformation – TIME
- From atomistic competition to ecosystem collaboration – SPACE
- From economic purpose to integral development – PURPOSE
Finally, we engage with the participants in the co-creation of six new ventures with an integral entrepreneurship lens.
